Our open day, part of Bundoran's Big Week by the Beach, takes place on Sunday 18th August from 1pm - 4pm at Bundoran Lifeboat Station. On the day we will be joined by our emergency services colleagues from Bundoran Fire & Rescue, National Ambulance Service, An Garda Siochana, Irish Coast Guard and Donegal Bay Community First Responders.
We will also have a lifejacket clinic where you can bring your lifejacket and have it checked over and the crew from the RNLI Face to Face team will be joining us as well with lots of goodies and information about "Respect The Water".
There will also be tours of the lifeboat station at 1:30pm and 2:30pm.
Admission is free and we're looking forward to seeing everyone on the day as they get a chance to meet and talk to your local community lifesavers.
TRAFFIC INFORMATION:
There will be no parking on the pier on the day except for emergency vehicles.
Parking is available (and will be signposted) at West End Car Park (opposite Allingham Arms Hotel) and (limited) at Stephen's Car Park (beside Peter Brady Park).
***Please note that all emergency services are on call and may be called upon at any time during the event to an emergency, An exercise with Rescue 118 is planned on the day but is subject to availability of the helicopter and other operational requirements.***
